Caden's 3rd Birthday

This year we did not have party for either child.  We are trying to save money and eliminate wasteful spending. For Caden we decided to serve his favorite dinner; hot dogs, mac and cheese, and dessert(ice cream.) We ate at home. Actually they cake came a day later. His birthday feel on a Wednesday and we had church, so on the way home he fell asleep. My mom took the kids to Build a Bear, Mikes parents got him an assortment of clothes and toys.  I'm trying to make it a point to be in more pictures.  Hate it but, it needs to be done.

This is my Yaya.  She is a typical nine year old, who likes to play with her Ipod. (you should see the videos.)  On this day she recieved the award for "caring."  The award for January.  Her teacher worte a letter on her behalf. It stated that she cares for her friends and class. She tries to make people around her happy.  She cares for her brother so much.  I think he may feel as though he has two moms.  She is protective, fun, and supportive.

Yummmmmy! what a treat to pay for her own dinner with the free burger she won with her awards.

This is my boy, my heart.  He is wearing is spongebob pajamas(he doesnt watch the show.) He spends the day running and playing outside. Outside is where he is happiest.  He plays with his John Deere tractor whenever its charged.  Love HIM!

Really?

I titled this because there is really no Harmony in our family.  I have two kids. Rylan is 9, and Caden is two.  There are any little moments in our life where the starts allign and everyone gets along. Like now my kids are sitting watch a DVD together and NOT fighting. Its great.

I am a first grade teacher. I go to school at night taking 8 units a semester.  My husband works as well. We never have day off together. My son goes to a preschool three days a week and we love his teacher Mrs. Cindy.  The weekends are spent with homework, cleaning, and hanging out with my kids. 

My daughter Rylan, is in third grade. She is currently into zebra, dolphins and hates Justin Beiber.  She thinks he "sounds like a girl." She is tall, wears size 5 in shoes, wears hair bows, and is not a girlie girl (most of the time.) My son Caden just turned three, he is speech delayed and began classes at 18 months.  We just found out that he has asthma.  He does breathing treatments twice a day. He always seems sick. Since treatments he's been doing better.  Both my kids love horses and going to their great uncles houses to ride.

The purpose of this blog is for me to keep track of the little things we typically forget.  I wnat to journal the kids funny moments, and the little pieces of Harmony that I can get.
